Who We Are
Our family run excavation company SHR Excavations is based in Northumberland where I've been an excavation and groundworks contractor my whole working life. I started in the industry 25 years ago, learning my craft and always taking pride in my tidy and efficient methods. I came to develop a strong sense of ownership over the work I produced, building a reputation as an honest, reliable and hard working excavating contractor.
Over the years this has led to greater responsibility, leadership development and project management of all types of excavation services, large and small. In essence, it helped me to get to where I am today. As co-founders of our company, my wife Helen and I took our shared vision and together we designed the total operation from concept to creation. As a former business owner herself, Helen brings her own brand of knowledge and experience which compliments my skill set.
What We Do
We started SHR Excavations to provide high quality, professional excavation services and groundworks to residential and commercial clients across Northumberland and the North East. Our family values are the foundation upon which our excavation company is built, notably trust, commitment, integrity and loyalty. This translates into a client focused service delivery which embraces a personable friendly approach, a willingness to meet expectations, enthusiasm in every aspect of the contract and product satisfaction.
To us, this is not just a business but a way of life. We are fully invested in our company and the legacy we leave for our sons.
